Hermès Williamsburg

Retail/Showrooms

L&K Partners served as Construction Manager for Hermès’ first permanent Brooklyn location, a 12,000-square-foot, two-story store at 130 Berry Street in Williamsburg. Designed by Parisian architecture firm RDAI, the space draws inspiration from the neighborhood’s industrial character.

The store combines raw brick, terrazzo, metalwork and oak with high end finishes and brand artwork. The ground floor features a custom mosaic entrance with the Hermès crest inlaid into the terrazzo. A custom staircase inspired by New York City fire escapes connects the two floors and features leather-wrapped handrails alongside a double-height brick mural. An exterior courtyard features native plantings, stone pavers, a mature central tree and a custom-built sequoia trellis system.

The project required close coordination across trades to execute the custom finishes, millwork and architectural details, creating a distinctly Brooklyn retail environment that reflects Hermès’ signature craftsmanship and quality.
