Deerfield Management

Life Sciences | Repositioning

L&K Partners/Newgrange Construction was hired by Deerfield Management to develop a former office building into its state-of-the-art life sciences campus, Cure at 345 Park Ave South. Originally built in 1913, the project required a full transformation of building infrastructure and a four-story addition to house critical equipment. The building includes wet labs, prototype studios, education and training center, café, fitness center, and a rooftop terrace. To support advanced digital and lab applications, we built new technical systems including: custom cooling and heating, site-specific generators, upgraded fire safety, risers and fume exhaust systems, enhanced elevators, acid-neutralized plumbing, and all new utilities. We renovated the property lobby and storefront, providing a welcoming atmosphere for guests arriving from all over the world.

Deerfield Management’s The Cure is currently leasing office and lab space for budding scientists, research organizations, and investors in support of their work in advancing life science and digital health.
