Diversity and Inclusion

As a 20% women-owned business with a growing, diverse team hailing from countries from all over the world, we are committed to fostering diversity and inclusion in our company and broader construction industry. Our recruitment, development and retention practices are put in place to ensure our teams feel supported, connected, and empowered. We participate in a range of programs designed to create an environment of opportunity and maintain an inclusive culture within our company.

Supplier Hiring Practices

We have formalized a long-standing commitment to the development and growth of a diverse supplier base and have taken proactive steps to build inclusion into our procurement process. We work closely with Small Business Enterprise (SBE), Minority Business Enterprise (MBE), Veteran Business Enterprise (VBE), and Woman-owned Business Enterprise (WBE) to establish inclusion goals and maximize building program involvement without sacrificing quality, time, or cost. In addition, we have completed over $350 million of ICAP/NJEDA projects in New York City and New Jersey.

Mentorship

Increasing diversity across our industry begins by introducing a wide range of young people to the many rewarding construction career opportunities, and providing them with the tools and resources needed to pursue these opportunities. We are a proud sponsor of the ACE Mentor Program, an organization that addresses systematic gaps in education and career opportunity through the development of internship and scholarship programs.

Founded in 1994, the ACE Mentor Program of America (ACE) is a free, award-winning, afterschool program designed to attract high school students into pursuing careers in the Architecture, Construction and Engineering industry, including skilled trades.
