Most known for their upscale, boutique hotels throughout Europe and South America, the NH Hotel Group partnered with L&K to open their first North American property, the NH Collection Madison Avenue located in Midtown Manhattan. The property, a 100-year old Italian Gothic landmark building, required a complete transformation. The project included gut renovations to 288 rooms and suites, ceiling expansion demolition to the lobby, additional elevators and updated exterior windows. L&K worked with designers to refurbish the original brick work and archways, which are featured in guest suites and private terraces throughout the hotel. Key elements include, an expansive lobby with comfortable working space and cozy fireplaces, a 1950’s inspired cocktail bar, and modern amenities and fitness center.
