Highgate, a leading hotel investment, management, technology, and development firm retained L&K Partners to manage the renovation of its latest addition to its Romer Neighborhood portfolio- Romer Hell’s Kitchen. Located in close proximity to Times Square and the Theatre District, the hotel embodies the neighborhood’s vibrant artistic and theatrical spirit. The project scope included renovation to the lobby, restaurant and kitchen, and various communal spaces open to both guests and the public. Serving as a “gathering spot and gateway for guests to experience the true essence of a neighborhood”, the public spaces include an all-day café, a library-inspired area with cozy seating and a fireplace, and a piano bar and lounge featuring nightly live music and cocktails.
The hotel renovation is complete with a refreshed entryway and façade upgrades. Our team is thrilled to work alongside the Highgate team and create a space rooted in authenticity and unique to the local community.
