If you enter the lobby of a Class A office property in New York City post-pandemic, you might just have a hard time discerning whether you’re in a hotelor an office. That is exactly what office developers want you to feel, as theyintegrate greater hospitality initiatives into their properties.
To that end, developers and owners Kaufman Organization and Beacon Capital Partners are revitalizing the 265,000-square-foot, 26-story, prewar boutique office building at 875 Sixth Avenue in Manhattan, investing $10 million for anew lobby, a redesigned street-level facade, updated office suites and an amenities space. The renovated building has been rebranded as One NoMad.
“The vision is to bring hospitality, a luxury hotel environment or even aresidential aspect also to every individual who’s coming into the lobby,” saidGrant Greenspan, a principal at Kaufman Organization.
